Random pics of Belgrade

No need to say much about it I guess. I was just overbid on ebay for my golden pyramid studs, might go higher with the price, though. Thinking about buying another one or two pairs of shoes, even though I don't *need* them (Ah, well, really?!) and so on.. it's warm and sunny here, might go for a walk later on. My boyfriend is at a filming studio so I'm up to entertaining myself - note to self: not(!!!) good being alone, will always result in eating tons of shit and buying useless things online!

Grey creations of a colourful coexistence in the distance (Chance meeting of a pighead and white apple blossoms under the surface of the river)

Have a wonderful day everybody!

The Italian quarter

My injections seem to help a lot and they prevent my red bubbles to reappear which is great - I finally could enjoy the first really warm day of the year (round about 18 degrees!) down the Danube quay. Before that, we walked the short way down Zemun-quarter, an ultra-pretty part of Belgrade and took some pics there, too. Later on, we went to a café but unfortunately I couldn't drink my favourite Mocca with white chocolate because it contains milk... so I chose a double espresso which wasn't bad, either.
All in all, even if I can't yet wear jewellery, life without red bubbles is so much more beautiful!

I'm wearing my DIY studded jeans today, and believe me, I studded them before the blue jeans with silver pyramid studs appeared on the Jak&Jil blog lately. Anyways, silver pyramid studs are great on blue jeans - totally worth the finger-breaking!

Scarf origami

I just wanted to show you what one can do with a mere leftover from an old dress... I bet you still remember me wearing it here simply wrapped around my neck with little to almost no effort. Well, when I feel like expressing my need to try out something new I go back to my early youth when I was a champion in the Japanese art of folding paper and do the same to my selfmade circle scarf... but see for yourself.
Oh and no full outfit post today, the pictures didn't turn out to be at all presentable... is there somebody around who knows how to photograph???? ;)

Kalemegdan visit and Teenvogue girl of the week

I'm Teenvogue girl of the week, yay! Thanks for reminding me, my lovely readers! The ones that haven't read it yet and are interested can check it out here!

So yep, I'm still alive although not completely healthy since I'm still dealing with a weird allergic reaction to God-knows-what but otherwise it's all going good down here.
So this is me visiting a place I've been before about half a year ago, now having learned that it's called Kalemegdan, an ancient fortress on a hill in the heart of Belgrade, and the view from up there is quite an enjoyful one. You can even see both Sava and Danube floating into each other right behind me - whoa! Haha... well I really apologize for the ultra ultra crappy picture quality, but well, all we have to take pictures round here is my boyfriend's Canon Power Shot SD1100... it's CRAP! For photo art I'll have to wait till I'm back with my sister's digital reflexive cams.

Talking styling, not much to report except that I have to be more than thankful for all the lovely people around me who lend me credit cards or even get round to buying me inaffordable things! Nuff said, Ricky hearts her perfect city bag.
The oversized grey blazer is Gerry Weber, very soft quality found in a thrift store back home, I'm loving it! And on top of it all, I felt a bit Gala inspired when I saw her wearing white socks in white shoes in one of her blog posts lately, so I had to try it out!

Away and away...

Yes, alright people have been writing me asking if everythings okay or why Im not posting, well I can tell you that Im finally having holidays and thus for three weeks find myself in the city as seen above! Unfortunately the weather in Belgrade is nooot as great as it could be, yet... but we have hope!

Another thing I was being asked about are where I got the pyramid studs from. Well those specific ones I got from ebay Germany, but if you search for pyramid studs on any ebay you will probably find something of use for you!

Outfit posts coming as soon as my boyfriend installed his photoshop again!

Take care everybody, hope you are having a similar nice time wherever you are!

It's raining, man!

I really hate this coolish, rainy, stormy weather that we have to deal with at the moment... it's boring not to be able to take longer walks outside and all that... I hope as the month proceeds, at least it's gonna get a bit warmer... the first day I'll feel totally fine without a jacket on is gonna be made a public holiday, haha!

I'm wearing hardly anything new today... I mean not even anything near new. My skirt is a leftover from a trimmed vintage dress from my mom. The dress is my sister's now, the skirt is mine! My wrap around drapery scarf is a leftover from a 60s dress that my grandaunt once made and my hairclip is from a chocolate box decoration, hehe.

Oh and look, it's 4 days until holidays!!!

[70s vintage skirt, H&M blazer and cardigan, selfmade scarf, vintage necklace, selfmade hairclip, second hand rubber belt, C&A knee high socks, H&M heels]

5 days left until holidays

Yeah man, that's right! Only five days to finish a darn dictionary term paper essay and a creative writing essay, take them both to uni, do the packaging and take some pics as well... busy week, haha!
Damn, it's cold outside! But this vintage dress is made of wool, cost me about €5 and looks so cool with its forest green colour! Nicey...

[60s vintage dress, second-hand rubber belt, H&M wool tights, Primark last season's studded heels (yeah, I admit I couldn't afford Gucci at that time, ha ha!), H&M turquoise bracelet]

PS.: HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY, BARBIE!!

Luxury and anarchy

Yep, that's one of the things I did last night when I wasn't feeling like writing my term paper... shame on me! But this old white teeshirt just begged for being changed to something a bit better!
Ok so I got a bit crazy, cut off the shirt's sleeves, cut away the neckline and at least 5 cm on both sides of the shirt, applicated a triangle to the front and studded it afterwards. But what am I talking, you can see on my pics what happened to that poor old shirt! But lucky me the weather was a bit more springtime-like as the weather forecast wanted to make me believe so I took the great opportunity of taking some pics of it instead of walking to the mall and watch some lo fi fashion show in there! I don't feel sad I didn't go there after all, it's Hannover so I can kinda guess what the show was like... and it's still going tomorrow so I might have a look there, then... who knows!

[Wearing: selfmade studded shirt, Topshop sequin blazer and flower print leggins, H&M leather skirt and plaid scarf, Steve Madden platforms, vintage bracelets]

Do you have these kinda portraits that scare even yourself off? The following is one of them for me, haha... really scaring me somehow, even though my sister the photographer said she likes it... well I'm just showing you cos it reveals my first tattoo ever! Got it about one and a half years ago.

What to do with a white shirt and 200 pyramid studs

Yep, last night I was acting as quite the spender and bought 200 pyramid studs on ebay! For a mere amount of €15, they're soon gonna be mine to stud any ol kinda garment that falls into my hands, ha ha!
It's amazing though what you stumble upon once you enter "pyramid studs" in google... and I'm not talking about weird horse porn orgy pictures popping up, but all kinds of things having been studded with little golden and silver pyramids! I'm very inspired and can't wait for my tons of studs to arrive!
