Michalsky A/W 13/14

No show today? That was hard to believe but indeed the only "broken promise" during the most recent StyleNite by Michael Michalsky.

"Broken Promises" the A/W 2013/14 men's and women's collections had been titled but after all, it was exactly what any StyleNite by Michalsky always promises: German prominence, live music (Schmidt and the lovely girls from Icona Pop!), sporty chic new women's and men's fashion by Michalsky, a lot of food and drinks and the always popular goodie bags.
What did Thom Yorke once sing? "No surprises"? But a really good show!

During Schmidt's music presentation, Michalsky also presented three very special dresses he had designed for the new movie "Oz the Great and Powerful". Three absolutely stunning dresses that stole the show of the main collections by a hundred miles! Wonderful.



And even though I'm not a fan of sporty clothes in general and probably never will be, the presentation, the music and the show were really well done. For everyone who is into this kind of clothing, I'm sure you'll like this collection.

No show today? / Heute keine Show? Das war schwer zu glauben, dennoch blieb es das einzige "gebrochene Versprechen" während der neuesten Auflage der Michalsky StyleNite.

"Broken Promises", so der Name der Herbst/Winter 2013/14 Männer- und Frauenkollektion, doch am Ende des Tages war auch diese StyleNite ganz genau, was sie stets verspricht: deutsche Prominenz, Livemusik (von Schmidt und den tollen Mädels von Icona Pop!), neu Männer- und Frauenmode von Michalsky, viel Essen und Trinken sowie die beliebten Goodie Bags.
Wie sang Thom Yorke einst? "No surprises"? Aber eine wirklich gute Show!

Während Schmidt ihre Songs darbot, präsentierte Michalsky außerdem noch drei ganz besondere Kleider, die er speziell für den neuen Film "Die fantastische Welt von Oz" entworfen hatte. Drei absolut umwerfende Kleider, die den Hauptkollektionen einfach die Show stahlen! Wundervoll.



Und obwohl ich einfach kein Fan von sehr sportlicher Kleidung bin und auch in diesem Leben nicht mehr werde, so war die Präsentation, die Musik und die ganze Show einfach sehr gut inszeniert. Jeder, der es aber etwas sportlicher mag, wird sicher seine Freude an dieser Kollektion haben.

No winter collection without black and grey for both men and women and I have to say: black collars on a white shirt? Nice touch!

Keine Winterkollektion ohne Schwarz und Grau, sowohl für den Mann als auch die Frau und ich muss sagen: schwarzer Kragen auf weißem Hemd? Schönes Detail!




Silky pants and tops in white, nude and rose do remind me a little of pajamas, but I know some girls that would look absolutely beautiful in this!

Seidige Hosen und Hemden in Weiß, Beige und Rosé erinnern mich leicht an Schlafanzüge, doch fallen mir einige Mädels ein, an denen das ganz großartig aussehen würde!



If we believe Michalsky, men will be wearing bold prints next winter, showcasing pin-up girls doing gymnastics. Funny... somehow.

Wenn es nach Michalsky geht, trägt Mann im nächsten Winter auffällig Prints, auf denen turnende Pin-Up Girls zu sehen sind. Lustig... irgendwie.




Emerald and black could be spotted both during the collections' presentations and in the three amazing dresses designed for the "Oz"-movie, but mustard will be big again as well.

Smaragdgrün und Schwarz konnte man sowohl in den Kollektionen als auch in den drei tollen Kleidern, die für den "Oz"-Film designed wurden, entdecken, und auch mit Senfgelb kann wieder gerechnet werden.



Sporty chic winter wear for men was held in darker colours and white with simple, straight and never too tight shapes.

Sportlich-schicke Wintermode für Männer wurde in dunklen Farbtönen und weiß gehalten. Die Formen sind weiterhin gerade und niemals zu eng.
