Black Winter Outfit 1

Uriah Heep - Lady in Black

Call me old-fashioned, but I really love this song. Especially the part by the end when the Hammond organ sets in - just great!

This is the second outfit in a row with my new and currently favourite necklace from Zara. I love its bold look and the fact that it incorporates both silver and gold (I've been saying for years that it's cool to mix those two, even though people keep saying that the hardware of your bag needs to match the colour of your jewelry etc. - in my opinion, that's - sorry - bullshit). And the necklace suits both the maritime blue of the previous outfit and the deep black of this one. It's simply so versatile that I'm not ashamed of advertising it so bluntly on my blog. And I'm not even paid to do so, haha.

The coat is a recent vintage find from my Hannover holiday and together with my knitted sweater from Mango, the baroque patterned velvet leggins from Zara, the Proenza bag and the Topshop cowgirl boots, the texture mix in this outfit is one of the most elaborate I've ever done. Basically, it's one of the few ways to stay warm and stylish in such cold winter weather.
How do you like the mix? It's pretty interesting even if it's all black, don't you think?

I hope your week started amazingly! Mine will be packed with work and I'm not even in New York like most fashion bloggers are! But to be honest, it's pretty great to simply follow the big bloggers' Instagram accounts to be kept up to date on what's happening in NYC at the moment!

Kisses!!!
